In June 2010, members of the media were brought to New York to be introduced to Nike’s plans for its World Basketball Festival in August. This announcement was also the backdrop that showcased new seasonal footwear and apparel from Nike’s affiliate brands. DCD was asked to curate a product room for Nike, Converse and Brand Jordan. We crafted the overall floor plan of the product rooms and worked closely with each brand team to utilize their existing assets. DCD designed custom mannequin displays that used internal air flow to help move the displayed uniforms, and large footwear tables that used the perforated language from the footwear itself.
