To raise awareness to the basketball mad Taiwanese masses, of the upcoming Nike World Basketball Festival, Nike Taiwan wanted to highlight the various national players, including their own superstar “The Beast” at TPE6453. The first floor was dedicated to Taipei’s obsession with basketball, so indoor and outdoor court surfaces were used, along with a wall of street court backboards that were covered in the 27 addresses of the 24 hour outdoor courts. Black and white photography floods the back room, capturing the action from all around the city.
Display cases hold Nikes most influential and innovative basketball shoe designs including the latest releases, the Nike Hyperfuse and the 2010 Nike Hyperdunk.
The second floor was transformed into a curation of the national colors and illustrations of the athletes who will be playing in the World Championships in Turkey, along with replicas of the athletes custom shoe boxes that they will receive from Nike.
