Nike TPE 6453 is a community engagement space in the heart of the Taipei shopping district. It celebrates creativity, inspiration, Nike’s latest footwear innovations, art, design, style, interactive media and the street culture that’s shaping Taipei. DCD worked closely with the Nike Taipei Marketing team to find, strip and design the space. A once residential property was transformed into a blank canvas gallery that Nike could use to curate various stories so as to re-connect with the general public. DCD also created the brand identity and collateral for the space.
The ground floor was a flexible curation space, and the 1st floor with a new dropped ceiling, custom designed furnishings and cabinetry was a seeding showroom and display space. To launch TPE6453, the Cortez was chosen as it was the very first Nike show to be prototyped and built in Taipei, and has become a legendary icon of the footwear giant.
