To launch the Lebrons 7th signature shoe – the Nike Air Max Lebron VII, Nike invited 150 global media to Lebrons home town of Akron Ohio. DCD was asked to create a celebration of Lebrons first 6 years in the NBA through the lens of performance. 6 rooms were designed, each connecting to the next to create a continuous flow. Each room had a performance corner which represented Lebrons statistics and achievements from that season. The opposite corner held elements from that years global marketing efforts. Bridging the two corners were 2 custom cases that displayed key signature footwear from that year. Also inside the case are original shoes sketches printed onto a mirrored surface. Colored court lines help lead the guest through each room. The colors represent Lebrons NBA team colors as well as those of his High School St Vincent St Mary.
