Nike’s energy center was built out to house 2 game changing innovation stories back in 2005. One, was Nike Free. The new running platform that mimic’d the foot strengthening properties of bare foot running. Quotes from runners and coaches were positioned around the room printed onto canvasses, while a textural tread pad was laid down for visitors to experience the tactile feel of the ground through the shoe. The other launch was Nike Considered. A range of footwear that were created with the ultimate Eco friendly friendly processes imaginable. All elements were deemed bio-degradbale, so a large glass case was filled with layers of colored sand to represent layers of earth.
